MOUNTAIN VIEW
SOUTH JORDAN, UTAH
In September of 2023, Mid-America Golf was commissioned to do a full-scale irrigation replacement at Mountain View Golf Club in West Jordan, Utah for Salt Lake County. We are nearly finished with the install at one of the largest municipal golf facilities in the state.
Mid-America Golf’s capabilities have shined as our Irrigation Division is pressing forward on this Jim Ruelle (GPS Golf As-built) and G. Brown Design Inc project.
When all is said and done, our in-house crew of certified installers will furnish all of the necessary machinery, tools, labor and materials to do the following:
- Installed over 2,000 TORO Infinity Sprinkler Heads
- Fused and laid some 20,000 ln. ft. of HDPE DR 13.5 Mainline Pipe; sizes range from4” to 16”
- Fused and laid 100,000 ln. ft. of HDPE DR 11.0 2″ lateral Pipe
- Installed associated communication and power wire, isolation valves, air relief valves and grounding
- Installed a new WATERTRONICS Pump Station complete with HDPE Intake Pipe and Concrete Wet Well
- Dredge and line a two acre irrigation pond with a 30 mm HDPE liner
This new system will allow the turf management team at Mountain View to maintain the course to optimal playing conditions. Currently, the only remaining item on our list is the installation of the irrigation pond liner.
