LOS ALAMOS
LOS ALAMOS, NEW MEXICO
Mid-America Golf IS coming down the stretch with the master plan renovation of Los Alamos. We broke ground on this nearly $6 million project in November of last year. Our team of craftsmen is diligently bringing this remodel to a close with just a few more items on our list.
The project lead architects are Forrest Richardson and Todd Schoeder, both long standing members of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, with Forrest serving as past president.
The work that our group is finishing up with is a true exercise in precision, that includes a wall-to-wall tee and bunker renovation, three new golf holes, driving range tee, short game area, some new cart path install, and all of the greens get some degree of re-surfacing; from drill and fill to expansion… all the while the course remains open for partial play, so the facility can maintain a revenue stream.
Trevor is also directly involved with the grow-in of the work that ranges from bentgrass sod and relay, to bluegrass new sod planting and seeding. The course most recently had a soft re-opening with rave reviews.
